The central bank of Uzbekistan will issue a new 100,000 soum banknote from February 25, 2019. Features like watermark and security thread with 3D effect are added on the banknote which is 144×78 mm printed on protected paper. The note which is dedicated to Mirzo Ulugbek has his portrait on the front side with his Samarkand observatory depicted on the side and also a solar system.
