The National Bank of Belarus has released a reminder that the time for the exchange of the 2000 series banknotes at banks and non-financial institutions had ended on December 31, 2019.
The old notes can be exchanged for the new ones from January 1, 2020, till December 21, 2021, at the National Bank of Belarus without restrictions and commissions.
The 2000 series banknotes will become invalid from January 1, 2022. 98% of the old cash and 60.6% of the number of banknotes were withdrawn from circulation.
