Bangladesh Bank (BB) has announced to release 100 percent cotton paper ‘Uv Curing Varnish’ Taka 100 note on March 7.
The improved new note will measure 140 x 62 millimeter. To make the note more shiner and to increase its stability varnish plaque has been added on both front and back side. This varnish layer also makes it difficult to scribble on the note.
The size and design remain unchanged from the current notes, and both will co-circulate.
